Workout Logs

As promised, I went back to the gym tonight and I worked out for about an hour. I didn’t do much by way of cardio but I followed part of my old routine for biceps, triceps and squats which was pretty easy to do. Next time I think I’ll add more weight but I’m still recovering from being sick so I didn’t want to push myself to the extreme and cause a relapse if there is still bad bacteria left in my body.

I added a new machine to my workout today to replace boring old crunches. The new machine has a seat-like bottom where you put your knees down and then you press your chest against a pad and rotate the bottom half only with your knees. It was a really fun ab exercise and it covered the entire abdominal area making it a great all-in-one type exercise.

The next time I hit the gym I’m going to do slow to medium elliptical training for about an hour or so to build up my stamina again. You never notice how much stamina you lose when you are inactive until you start doing squats and you feel like you’re ready to die after 15 of them.

Here are my measurements and weight as of tonight:

Weight: 172.2 lbs
Waist (From Belly Button): 33.75 in
Waist (at Hips): 33.50 in
Biceps: 12.25 in (Used to be 15 so I got some work to do!)
Chest:
38.5 in
